Publication of papers from a seminar on monetary analysis

On 20 and 21 November 2000 the European Central Bank (ECB) organised a seminar for staff from central banks entitled "Monetary analysis: Tools and applications". The aim of the seminar was to obtain an overview of the various approaches used to analyse and assess the information on monetary developments in major central banks. The seminar involved presentations by and discussions among staff from the ECB, EU national central banks and other G10 central banks.

The ECB today publishes on its website the contributions to this seminar. A printed volume presenting these papers will become available in the course of the spring and can be obtained directly from the ECB (see address below).
