ECB welcomes the Cypriot authorities’ decision to conclude the resolution of the country’s major bank

The Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) welcomes the announcement by the Cypriot authorities on the conclusion of the Bank of Cyprus resolution process.
The finalisation of this process is a major step toward restoring confidence in the domestic banking system.
