You can exchange Bulgarian lev banknotes for euro at any of the following locations from 1 January to 2 March 2026. The amount that can be exchanged is limited to BGN 2,000 for any given party/transaction on any one day.

Belgium: Nationale Bank van België/Banque Nationale de Belgique

  • Location: Brussels (head office)
  • Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45-15:30 CET

Germany: Deutsche Bundesbank

Estonia: Eesti Pank

  • Location: Tallinn (head office)
  • Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12:00-17:00, and Saturday, 11:00-16:00 EET

Ireland: Central Bank of Ireland

  • Location: Dublin (head office)

Greece: Bank of Greece
